Day 35 – May 13, 2014
Today’s daily photo is a personal one to celebrate my husband’s birthday. 55 years ago today the love of my life was born. He’s a kind, thoughtful, hard-working man who I am blessed to have in my life. Happy Birthday my love!

Day 34 – May 12, 2014
Tiny Little Buds
These little buds as part of my Mother’s Day bouquet from my daughter. I thought they would make for an interesting “depth of field” shot.
Day 33 – May 11, 2014
This photo was taken at Hesperia Lake in Hesperia, California. I had a lot of swans, geese and ducks to choose from, but I ended up choosing this photo because I loved everything about it – the lighting, the water droplets dripping from his beak, his blue eyes 🙂

Day 32 – May 10, 2014
One of my favorite flowers to shoot – the ranunculus. They come in all pretty colors, with layers of petals for a lot of definition.

Day 31 – May 9, 2014
Tools Of The Trade
Aside from my passion for photography, I love to quilt and sew. Any day I can lock myself in my sewing studio and create, is a good day for me. Oh what to make with all that pretty fabric? 🙂
Day 30 – May 8, 2014
Pelican At Sunset
I haven’t been out with my camera today, so for today’s daily challenge I am sharing with you one of my all time favorite photos I took last January at the Ventura Pier at sunset. The pelicans were flying all over the place, and I managed to capture this one in flight. I love the silhouette of the pelican against the glowing evening sky.
Day 29 – May 7, 2014
Flowering Cholla Cactus
This photo was shot today in the Mojave Desert of California. It is a flowering Cholla cactus.
